I thought both players were exceptional with different skill sets and I thought they were both massively underrated by non-Nufc fans. Obviously Robert was the better athlete of the two, pacier and more direct. Solano had better vision, technique and passing. I never liked Dyer much as a player, but it is no coincidence that he looked his best when had Solano's intelligence and technique creating space for him and bringing him into the game. Dyer relied on Solano a huge amount. Their stats ultimately are very very similar so I don't think you can point to them as being conclusive evidence of anything. And yes - I was at the games. Ronaldont may knock, but I thought Bracewell played that role superbly for a couple of seasons. Was regarded as part of one of the best midfields ever assembled at Everton.
