Pardew made some bad decisions and there were a couple of very, very poor performances. Notably from both full-backs and Obertan... all three of them were woeful and a big reason for why we've lost. johnnypd Posted December 3, 2011 Share Posted December 3, 2011 when i saw the line-up i didn't think we'd be able to win. losing jonas and tiote from the line-up, and having Raylor in there when he should've been dropped ages ago was too much of a blow for us. Coloccini going off ensured the defeat, and Taylor picking up a knock condemned us to conceding a couple more. shame, as a week or so ago this one was pencilled in as one we could absolutely get 3 points from. As it was, plenty of spirit and not that far off in the end. Certainly close enough to make the Luiz non-sending off a major talking point. Press will be happy we're out the top four now.
