They re-emphasised rules about retrospective bans for players flopping. Yet to see them really apply it.

We'll see what Aguero gets.

They should be dishing out 5 or more bans every week these days.

Aguero didn't 'flop' (:anguish:). Schneiderlein caught him with his trailing leg after he took the ball. Made a meal of it? Of course he did.

Well therein lies a big part of the problem. Everything is always black and white and blame either swings 100% one way or another. I'd say in such an instance Aguero absolutely needs to receive blame also. Warning, or suspensions if repeated etc...

Otherwise, it's just good on him, pat on the back and move on to the next time.

And there's no other real word for it than "flopping"

helpful that he managed to miss the obvious stamp this time but not against spurs . how many premier league games is it now since we had a man sent off against us?

The one against Spurs was right in front of him. There were loads of bodies in the way today iirc, the rest of the players didn't even see it

The 4th official would have been what, 10 yards away? With an unobstructed view.

He was fine, mainly because the match had very few fouls, but yet again an opposition player gets away with a potential red card challenge. We just don't get them.
