Imagine we actually NEEDED to win that! I'd be incensed. Stonewall penalty ignored(not even checked on VAR as far as I could tell) and Havertz getting away with an extremely dangerous and high elbow.

Goes without saying its a different game if both those go how they should of.

My big issue with VAR is that for the big teams the refs tend to give the 50:50 calls in favour of them and then wait for VAR to overturn. We had three incidents in the game that had he given us the decision VAR would not have overturned.

Frustrating as hell how weak officials can influence games via a 'loophole' in the VAR process

Seeing as VAR is seen by Refs in a studio, maybe Refs from another country should review replays. No bias from English Refs then, who would normally Ref the team it's reviewing an incident for.

Sky say the VAR excuse was that the shirt pull wasn’t enough to go down

Ignoring the challenge with the leg which actually sent him down.

Fuck off man. How can it not be a clear and obvious error when he gave a corner, despite the Chelsea player not touching the ball?

Ignoring the fact pulling the shirt is a penalty in itself as well.

The fact the he gave the corner says that he thought Chalobah got the ball, he didn't ofcourse and that's where VAR should be telling him to look at the monitor! But as we know, they didn't.

Also, how much of a shirt pull would cause a player to go down, arguably in that position a shirt pull would keep Murphy on his feet. Therefore how much shirt and how aggressively does it need to be pulled before you get a foul. Or is shirt pulling only for non penalties now else they'd be giving them during every corner and free kick

At the point you see someone’s chest exposed because the shirt has been pulled so much, anyone who has ever played the sport would know that’d impact on a player running with the ball.

Nothing with that decision makes any sense whatsoever.
