We wouldn't even be worrying about him vs Anzhi if he hadn't played. We'd have gone through even if we lost to them. You're confident that the way we were playing in autumn/winter that we'd have got a result in Bordeaux even with a strong XI? They were possibly the worst team we've played this season in the home game. A draw would have sufficed for us against their much weakened team but we played for a defeat and got one.
