Guest neesy111
I get what everyone is saying about letting players swan off etc, but managing a football team is also about making exceptions to the rule for the right player. And as Icke said, the facilities he goes to must be excellent. Yes but he's our player, he shouldn't be coming back just a few weeks before he's recovered from it should be a few more. Remember he came back in January/February and his general fitness wasn't up to the standard expected when injured. We can't measure his fitness if he's somewhere in France properly using the standards the club uses.

Dinho lad
The "Ben Arfa's fat" stuff is just getting fucking silly now. He came back looking bulkier, he's not fucking clinically obese. Anyway, how active do people expect him to be when he's laid low with a serious hamstring injury? How can he do any cardio? You get "fat" by eating too many calories. And there certainly are other methods to keep yourself in shape anyway. (ie, arm-bike machines. ) Not that I particulary think there's a big issue with HBA there. Kanji
The "Ben Arfa's fat" stuff is just getting f***ing silly now. He came back looking bulkier, he's not f***ing clinically obese. Anyway, how active do people expect him to be when he's laid low with a serious hamstring injury? How can he do any cardio? Been trying to say that since this notion that he's overweight came about. Spot on man. You can't really do much cardio when your hamstring is f***ed. He looks like he's hit the weights which could have been something his doctors have told him to do for all we know. Says a lot about our medical team that we'd rather trust other facilities. I dunno, isn't it fairly common for clubs to send players away for specialist treatment? Our facilities are s*** to no? Clairefontaine is a class facility from what I've heard/read. The bigger issue here is that we HAVE to send players away b/c of our s*** facilities for rehab etc. Specialists are always called in to help mend broken bones, ligaments etc. I'm glad that we DO send players to the best doctors in the world - its the rehab part that is in question by many, which is valid, but hopefully one day, our facilities are upgraded and we have a real top rehab and recuperation system for our players hurt and not hurt. I dunno, isn't it fairly common for clubs to send players away for specialist treatment? It's a common theme that whenever HBA is injured he goes there no matter what type of injury. I don't blame him because with all the muscle troubles we've been having this season I sure as hell wouldn't be trusting us to bring me back from a muscle injury. Guest VanBarduck
"Ben Arfa et sa Vision du Jeu Surnaturelle" on dailymotion , a pretty old video , that make me think he needs to play in a number 10 role .
Kanji
If we stay up, I'd be happy for us to find 2 outside wingers with pace and a cross. One with a left and right peg so we could play them on their natural sides. I'd also be happy to see Ben Arfa play behind the central striker in front of say Sissoko and Cabaye too. FYI that video was like nearly 3 mins and it was a compilation that featured only 2 goals.

The College Dropout
I wouldn't say fat in particularly but he does look unfit in a similar way that Rooney or Benzema do. He's doesn't look like an athlete.
