Gaz
Crosses shocking all game, Ben Arfa comes on and puts in 3 great crosses (2 from corners) and we still cant score. Why put him on the bench? Why play him in the hole? ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Foluwashola
Should probably have started and was bright for a couple of minutes after he came on. Was one moment where a Spurs player walked past him and he didn't even attempt to put a tackle in. Minging, absolutely minging.

alexf
He tried for about 10 mins then gave up like everyone else did when they scored the 3rd. No point singling out any players at the mo. They are all as bad as each other. All just playing at about 40%
The College Dropout
With Cabaye gone we need to go back to the drawing board. Just get our most talented lads on the pitch at the same time, see what happens.

Geordie Ahmed
Ben Arfa will leave, play mint under a manager that isn't a tard and the tools that lay the blame at him rather than the idiotic manager will be made to look foolish
Gaz
Not bad for 20mins! NUFC Stats @NUFC_Stats 48s No player created more chances than Hatem Ben Arfa tonight in the NUFC v THFC game - 3 #nufc

This might not be a popular reply but HBA did do some good attacking play but also got stick from Gouf for not making himself available. Marv also spent time walking around. Santon was shocking mind

HBA, MYM and Marveaux together on the pitch ? Basically. Marveaux in the number 10 role, Yanga-Mbiwa in for Taylor and Ben Arfa having a free-ish role from the right wing. Wilson
quite funny today, kid in front whinges after spurs put a nice 'defence splitting' pass through, "only person who could do that for us was cabaye!" ...hatem plays a similar ball through for us, doesn't come off..."this is why you shouldn't play ben arfa!" SHHH.
Guest neesy111
His attitude stinks tbh, he can fuck off with 1/2 of this squad for me.
Guest Publius
My attitude would stink as well if i was as good at football as him and playing behind the Ameobi brothers tbh.
Lush Vlad
His attitude stinks tbh, he can f*** off with 1/2 of this squad for me. You can say that for nearly all of them. We should sell them all, I wish they'd all fuck off. Or we could you know, sack the c*** who's fault it is and fire Pardew out of a cannon into a brick wall. Crumpy Gunt
HBA will know after last night he has to move on. As soon as Parshit had the opportunity he dropped him. Gonna be sickening watching the rest of this season.
Lush Vlad
Pardew's 'back to basics' appears to be play no creative players in midfield. With a midget not suited to playing in a flat 4 and a battering ram who isn't good enough on the ball to play with just one other CM. So basically, no DM and a sprinter at centre mid. Then a lad on one wing who is knackered after a half and a striker, who before his injury, was massively out of form. Throw in a good old fashioned front pairing, with the target man type and a goal scorer (that's Cisse by the way ) Then proceed to hoof it forwards to nobody in particular and hope someone conjures up a bit of magic. Basics.
Guest hatem garrincha
Pardew mismanagement aside, Ben Arfa seems unfit and not motivated at all. His current weight is not acceptable for a professional footballer. After 10 good first minutes yesterday, he just walked and hide around the middle of the pitch. Cisse's pass in the last minutes would have been ok if Hatem had moved for it.
BrettNUFC
Cisse's pass in the last minutes would have been ok if Hatem had moved for it. Give over, was a fucking shite pass, Ben Arfa was behind him just waiting for the ball and Cisse passed it out of play. No way is Ben Arfa being blamed for not moving there. I agree he's not fit or looking sharp but he's only going to get that by playing matches. He did well when he came on but once he realised there wasn't going to be a comeback, he wasn't bothered. He was coming to a DM position just to pick up the ball, least he actually wanted it. Not that he should be coming that deep, like.
Kanji
Both Cisse and Ben Arfa looked clueless in that moment, I'd slag both of them for that. Extra % to Cisse for his passes always being on a different planet to his teammates and generally fucking up passes to begin with.
Lotus
HBA tried a few things. Think actually he'd benefit from playing with Marveaux. Would be amazed if they both started though. I do think a front 5 of: Sissoko Tiote HBA Marv Gouf Remy Would probs be a decent set up.

If hatem wanted the ball where Cisse put it, he would have pointed to the space, Hatem likes ball to his feet and that's where the pass should have gone. Playing it and then saying to Ben Arfa, well that's where you should be is just idiotic on Cisse's behalf.
