Kaizero
Doe's anyone find it incredibly hilarious that Liverpool spent 41 million on two of our players and if we win tomorrow we will be above them? Not really, as we've been above them most of the season and they've catched up, which makes it not as awesome as it used to be. But still, yeah. caught* No. Both forms are acceptable in use, even though admittedly "catched" started disappearing from use in the 19th century. Mainly because "caught" was easier to pronounce. TBF tho that was due to our great start, we went through a slump and they went above us and now if we win tomorrow we go above them again If anything that makes it more hilarious in my view. mattypnufc
Huge opportunity to steal a march on Liverpool now. Have to win. They'll steal it back when we're on European duty. How'd anyone miss this?
ponsaelius
Btw, these haven't won in 9 and haven't had a clean sheet in 12.
Benwell Lad
In light of today's results and looking at the league table, it would be a perfect time to register a convincing victory.
David28
Agree, win tomorrow would be really really good. Could even go ahead of Arsenal if things went very well, at least for a little time.
Dave
Btw, these haven't won in 9 and haven't had a clean sheet in 12. Fully expecting them to up their game tomorrow by a significant amount.
Mr Logic
Think it all depends on Pardew tbh, the team overview he went with at Anfield or the overview we met Man U with.

Dave
Possible line up: Kenny Young - Gabbidon - Ferdinand - Hill Wright-Phillips - Buzsáky - Derry - Mackie Helguson - Bothroyd

Ronaldo
Luke Young's turn to look like a world Class right-back this week. Good for him.
Super Duper Branko Strupar
Their only threats are Wright Phillips and Helguson. Santon and Colo should sort that out.
johnnypd
Possible line up: Kenny Young - Gabbidon - Ferdinand - Hill Wright-Phillips - Buzsáky - Derry - Mackie Helguson - Bothroyd what an abysmal team. should be beating these but i fear we might look a bit toothless without Ba. Fenham Mag
Really not worried in the slightest about this game. Keep all 11 men on the pitch and no silly fouls and we should win easily.

Guest neesy111
Make sure we aren't complacent and tight at the back and we should win. Early goal needed if it's going to be comfortable. Still don't like the stat of Hughes not having lost at St James' as manager.
Smal
Helguson's going to score from a corner, Mackie will score a miskick, but we'll win 4-2. Best x 2, Taylor and Jonás for us
