Dave
We didn't have either of them against Blackburn. Not saying I like to see Shola starting Premier League games for us, but we generally just seem to be more comfortable in a basic 4-4-2. People at the Cup game seem to back this up; we were apparently better second half in a more orthodox system.
Guest ObiChrisKenobi
Would you really want to use 1 up front against a Mark Hughes team? He's known for just sitting everyone behind the ball.
Dave
Krul R.Taylor Williamson Coloccini Santon Ben Arfa Guthrie Cabaye Gutierrez Best Ameobi Is what would be most logical to me (assuming Guthrie makes it, Simpson doesn't, and Obertan fucks off). BottledDog
Cabaye straight red. 0-
54
Cabaye straight red. 0-2 Very optimistic that.

Best team we have available. Am sure Blackburn has convinced Pardew that we looked much better with 2 up top
BottledDog
Cabaye straight red. 0-2 Very optimistic that. Aye, well, could have been worse if the ref had spotted Williamsons hand ball on the line. Should count our blessings.

Tiresias
Krul Simpson Williamson Coloccini Santon Cabaye Guthrie HBA Vuckic Jonas Best I'd go for the same but put Cabaye in Vuckic's position and Abeid alongside Guthrie. Nothing against Vuckic but I want to see how Cabaye does in the role he had in his last club. Vuckic could come in for Abeid and Cabaye go back second half. Tiresias
He said so, though doesn't mean Pardew agrees iirc

BottledDog
Fkn 'ell. Last time we played them at home in the top div Ian Holloway scored. /Ben Arfa can be Beardsley this time around.
Sifu
Guthrie is fit for this game. “I should be fine for QPR, I returned to full training on Tuesday and will get a good few days in. I had a really good two weeks with the medical staff, who have been brilliant. “I have done a mini pre-season really so on that front I’m fine.” That's great news Though I suspect he might be on the bench for this one. But I can definitely see him starting the Fulham game.
madras
be interesting if guthrie plays, which one turns up, especially as it looks like he'll get a good run of games.
ExiledGeordie
From the likely lineup the Rangers fans are predicting on their message boards they look very light in midfield and in defence. Even without Ba I'd be confident of creating a good few chances.

Ikon
Ben Arfa to score 2 in a 4-0 win.
Hanshithispantz
If Ben Arfa isn't set out against Clint Hill then Pardew needs his balls removing. This could and should be fucking messy (Ben Arfa against that, not Pardew's castration).
