TaylorJ_01
His name is Papiss Cisse, he wears the number nine, and when he saw St.James Park said 'Where's the f***ing sign'? He never signed for Sunderland, he caught a different flight, a geordie boy from Senegal he's f***ing dynamite! Cracking
James
I'm starting to compare our trio up top to Owen, Viduka, Martins during the Keegan days, only each player is much better than what we had. So for Owen, Viduka, Martins, see Cisse, Ba, Ben Arfa respectively.
Frazzle
He's easily on course to hit double figures. Imagine him in a full season next season.

TRon
It's a shame he's nearly 27. I want him for 20 years. Actually that's great. it makes him less attractive to other clubs every season he stays here because of the diminishing resale value.

Guest icemanblue
I thought that he was just a finisher after his first couple of games, like. Couldn't have been more wrong. He's got so much more to his game. Had some incredible touches today, and showed real quality awareness.

Guest Howaythetoon
You can see just why he scores so many goals because he is so sharp and his movement is superb too. He also has good technique on either foot and indeed with his head. He really does remind me of Cole, although a more hard working selfless type of forward. He has strength and power too, he was up against two tough arsed defenders today and he held his own more often than not. It s early doors yet but he is looking a real bargain and hats off to all those involved in the deal.
Tiresias
wonder if pardew thinks he's still struggling to adapt to the english game?
Ameritoon
Great to see how willing he is to get back and defend, at one point after a failed attacking move Cabaye was way up the pitch, and Cisse just waved him off and went to take his position for a bit. Kanj
He's something else and I keep thinking of Demba's tweet that when Papisto sleeps, he dreams of scoring goals.

Guest Howaythetoon
At first I thought he reminded me a bit of Andy Cole - now I think he might actually be a lot better.... Steady on. Cole was my boyhood hero like and looking back, he was actually underated and more of a footballer than made out. The saying was that KK got rid because he was limited and this limited our game, I don't buy that myself, he was no Shearer or Sir Les but he proved at Man Utd he could adapt his game, and would have done so here if allowed, but KK didn't have the patience, he wanted the ready made all-round centre-forward. Cole was exeptional in the air, cool as a cucumber on either foot an deadly in front of goal. He also linked up play well. Cisse seems a harder working player mind and less selfless. What I loved about Cisse today was every pass even if it was shit, he applauded and aknowledged it. He genuinley seems a humble type of guy.
Pilko
Both goals were exquisitely taken. His all round game looked mint today too, he's got an excellent first touch.
Guest BooBoo
Cole was poor in the air for NUFC. He would be often on his way down when the cross reached him. He was a tremendous predator though, deadly on one on ones and rarely missed the target. His heading was his weakness though as a youngster.
