Rich
Rob Scanlon, does the NUFC TV reporting. Reads N-O too apparently
Ketsbaia
Always had complete faith that he'd be back and it looks like he will be. Superb striker, he'll benefit most from our new look team.
alexf
Haha is that his first interview in English? Coming along quite well considering he didn't speak a word when he arrived last year. Was just thinking while watching Sissoko's interview that it is going to suck a little bit if none of our players can speak english in interviews and stuff and then along pops Cisse
Skirge
Yeah Robs a top bloke.. deffo visits this place, lets hope he gets that video off Cisse. would love to see that.

Cronky
didn't even think for one second he'd miss once he was in. The reality is he could easily have missed. It wasn't a particularly powerful shot, it was straight at the keeper, but fortunately it went through his legs. I still don't think his form is particularly good. I don't think we should rigidly adhere to the mentality that it's all about the rest of the team creating chances for Cisse. We shouldn't be afraid to try other options ie Gouffran. WarrenBartonCentrePartin
aye Scanlon reads this board. Tweeted something when I had a joke about his tie being horrifically tied on one of the videos. Quality as that's the first time I've heard Papiss speak English too

Swings and roundabouts. He deserved at least two goals against Reading if you want to look at it that way. The header was well placed and 9 times out of 10 no keeper would have got near it and the swivel volley wouldn't even have been a chance for most other strikers. Cajun
Most goals are potentially saveable, fact is he looked up, placed the ball where he thought would have the best chance of getting through and it paid off.
Stifler
The thing about Cisse is that he has been getting into those positions as he did for the goal yesterday all season, the only problem was people supplying the ball never saw that pass until he had made his run into an offside positions or simply didn't even make it, Sissoko has the awareness to see and make the pass before Cisse has run into an offside position. KDT
Don't think he was offside for the chipped ball that Sissoko played earlier in the game, good to see they are forming a bit of an understanding so early.

Cronky what happened man The "reality" that he could have easily missed can be counter-argued by the "reality" that he could have scored from previous situations which he did miss. If you know anything about football, and I'm certain that you do, you'll understand what the goal meant for his confidence last night. Make no mistake, it was an emphatic finish. Spot on. Also, Cisse pointed to where he wanted it, and Sissoko obliged without dallying for a second. That's the type of supply Cisse thrives on. pi_D
Remind me more and more of Darren Bent. Really? Cisse can actually play football and has an awareness that allows him to bring other players into the attack. Bent does not. :/
captainhaircut
Isn't he 1 in 2 for the last six games or so? Yup, 3 in his last 6 and 4 in his last 11. Most of which he's been playing wide right. Get the side right behind him and he'll score goals.

The reason he's offside a lot of the time is because people don't play the ball when they should! Hugely encouraged by that pass from Sissoko. He didn't hesitate to send it through to Papiss. Lovely vision.
Tisd09
His form has been poor at times this season but he is being judged against and amazing run last season, he showed enough last season for me to know the lad has qualities. I have little doubt we'll have a top class striker on our hands again, just maybe won't be hitting the heights of last Jan - May for such a prolonged period of time.
