Tooj
I think it was obvious since Di Canio was appointed as Head Coach that they would be going down this route. Especially due to the amount of money wasted by players under O'Neill.
Village Idiot
Have Sunderland signed players already? I had not noticed.
bhoywhonder
Looks like its not just football where we're both seemingly in a race to the bottom if these depressing statistics are anything to go by: Out of 150 local authorities, Sunderland ranks 136th for early deaths from cancer, 133rd for lung cancer, 117th for liver disease, and 116th for heart attacks and strokes. The city is the worst placed in a poor showing for the North East, with Newcastle ranked 103rd. GERRIN! toontownman
Exciting time to be a Sunderland supporter.. lets hope it fizzles out as per normal after a likely enthusiastic start to season with the momentum optimism will create.

Unbelievable
Linked with every player on the planet it seems.. Do they know they can only register 25 players?
jdckelly
Linked with every player on the planet it seems.. Do they know they can only register 25 players? I think it may have escaped Di Canio's notice given his turnover of players
TheHoob
Most people on the SMB seem convinced they'll sign 10 or more players, can't see how that will go wrong at all
AyeDubbleYoo
Well Di Canio has probably pissed off all the existing ones.
hithere
Most people on the SMB seem convinced they'll sign 10 or more players, can't see how that will go wrong at all Rather that than Gardner, Bardsley, Graham etc. It could be a massive fuck up but at least we're trying something different. Stuy_O
Getting linked with Abel Hernandez these lot today.
David Icke - Son of God
I honestly have no fucking idea who these players are. You'd think they'd have the common decency to sign players I know to be shite so I can spend the summer taking the piss out of them.
Stuy_O
Hernandez is a talented player but seems to be injured a fair bit. Monumental upgrade on Danny Graham like.
Ketsbaia
Must say, I think I have a decent knowledge of players that exist but they're buying so many unknowns. That can't be a good sign. Some big money 27 year old Serie B striker? No thanks. Then again, maybe its jealousy that theyre purchasing footballers this summer
Stuy_O
Aye the rest of them I aint heard of, might have seen that Diakite's name mentioned somewhere.
Flip
Abel Hernandez would do well in the PL from the little i've seen of him.
