Hanshithispantz
I've defended performances like Stoke but this has really riled me, completely disrespects the fans. Can't think of the last time I turned a match off. At the end of the day, it's a game of football, go and have a go and stop taking yourself so seriously. The players looked immediately demotivated, probably by the tactics. Same here, I think this is the first match I've had to stop watching since 2008. I rarely feel the need too but that was just so fucking dire.
mouldy_uk
I do wonder what it would have to take to sack him. God knows, taken from wiki: Pardew win % for us - 38% Hughton win % for us - 56%

Hanshithispantz
Hughton had a season in the championship like so you cannot really compare.
Interpolic
I do wonder what it would have to take to sack him. A clean slate on the injury front? I think he quite likes the injuries, covers his failings and he's always got an excuse.
David28
he need to be sacked. No he doesn't. He actually got us playing well at times in the last months and we started getting results again. Thing is, he's very focused now on the Europa League and, who can blame him? It's a great chance we have to bring a trophy to SJP finally after all those years. No-one will care if we survive by 1 single point in the league but won the Europa League. Thing also is, that we have two very winnable home games now in a row that should see us getting 6 points and therefore bing absolutely safe.

Ste
There doesn't seem to be any willingness to change his thinking or the tactics a great deal. He still appears very confident in his own style of play despite what the results show. The team we have are more than capable of being able to play a decent game of football. He just needs to be braver, the fear of losing and the tactics he sends the team out with contribute greatly to the results we get.

JH
The way he sets us up away from home is destroying us. If we aren't careful, it'll have us relegated too.

The lack of service for Cisse is something I'd totally agree with. Still, to say he should be sacked after losing at the Etihad is over the top. Especially not when you know that he's concentrating on the Euro League and (it seems) on the winnable games in the league.
Guest palnese
We've haven't had a better squad since Bobby's days, but we're yet to produce a good game all season. Incredible.
Gallowgate Toon
He's properly relying on Sissoko at the minute. Never mind Cisse needing a bit of support, Sissoko needs it more, gets on a decent run and there's only one player within 20 yards of him.
Hanshithispantz
He should rightfully be gone at the end of the season, I have no idea what people think is going to happen if we sack him now though. It's a massive gamble in itself.
toontownman
We are absolutely stuck with this joker. We can hope for sense to prevail and a managerial switch in the summer. But it is never going to happen. Provided we survive, next season will be another mixed bag of results at best. Without the distraction of Europe we might finish top half and pardew will get another year. That is being uber optimistic because the football we have apparently player is fad from premiership or supporter worthy. Some managers mature tactically with time.. The free flowing attractive football Pardews early sides played is a far cry from what we get lumped with. He might be a better and wiser man manager but tactically he has become delusional. We set up to fail everytime and the negative tactics rub off on our players. Every person on that pitch got into football from enjoying playing and watching football. 11 of the players on that pitch today obviously still get to do that everyday. The others have to go against all that is natural to them, in turn they get to look like the cowards their manager is coaching them to be.
