"Sylvain come off but we needed to make sure we got a tackle out on the pitch."

That sentence sums up entirely what is wrong with him as a manager and ultimately why we are where we are.

So takes perfectly fit player off who has been playing well and leaves player on who has just come back from long term injury on.  Who he then must take off due to an injury.

'after they scored we were looking about for some impetus....'  mmmm....here's an idea Alan.  How about you giving them them some kind of inspiration from the sidelines.

You're (single-handedly?) killing this team you f***ing muppet!  And as for insinuating the fans had something to do with that 2nd half performance is just unbelievable.

I'm sure every good manager has to be flexible and change his team during a match but Pardew does it 3/4 times every f***ing game!  He doesn't have a clue what works when my 12 year son can see the obvious.

Sylvain come off but we needed to make sure we got a tackle out on the pitch.

Against Reading. FUCKING READING. AT HOME.

With the squad we've got, we should be looking to stick 5 past that bunch of nobodies. They're a shit team. Why the merry fuck should we, at home, finishing 5th last year with a team full of internationals, be looking to "get a tackle out on the pitch"?

Why are we worrying about them? I sure as fuck didn't see them doing too much worrying about us, they were too busy trying, not unsuccessfully, to score goals.

Cunt.

A complete and utter neanderthal statement.

From the horrific grammar to the complete lack of intelect behind it.

Honestly, just completely embarassing.

I can safely say without hyperbole that Perch for Marveaux is the most incredible substitution I have ever seen at St James.

There was nothing unique about it at the time. Replacing a physically weak and frail attacking midfielder with a more defensively stout one while leading 1-0 is a perfectly logical thing to do. People like to use hyperbole when they have hindsight. In fact, we have played good football before with Perch and Anita in midfield. The much larger issue is the general attitude the team played with, especially after Reading scored a goal. We seemed fairly comfortable before that. We were too scared to attack after we scored and for all the focus on defence, the team capitulated and fell into chaos after allowing the fortuitous equaliser. We've seen this story a multitude of times this season.

I had no hindsight when I booed the decision at the time. It was obvious how fucking backwards the decision was.

I put £100 on them to score as soon as it happened, see betting thread. Think you are clearly wrong Segun.

Aye. Thick as a bulls dick and managing a premiership side. Apalling.

After the Villa gam it'll be far far too late. If Pardew's tactical ineptitude and general defeatist attitude wasnt enough, while Ashley fannies about trying to placate his casino buddy our relegation rivals are making up ground quickly.

Let's face it Pardew ain't going anywhere.

I think this is probably true but where will fat Ash draw the line, defeat at Villa? Chelsea? Tottenham?

There's a really good chance we will be in the bottom three after the Spurs game.

Bad times :(

He will at least get til the Chelsea game Imo. The upside with that is we might sign some fucker before then, the downside is we might sign more people if we had a manager that could attract people to the club.
