Floated set penis to Williamson/Taylor at back post

So you are saying that it´s ok that we haven´t scored a goal, or even coming close, to score a corner more than 1 years ago?

Shola should have buried a header against West Ham tbf...

Nice a good corner, and it ends up at Shola

Seriously though, it's beyond embarrassing the way we are handling the set pieces.

It's funny how since coming back up to the Premiership, we've very rapidly gone from being a team that's heavily reliant on wide play and set pieces to being a team that doesn't do any of either.

We don't seem to do much of anything at the moment. Just give the ball to Hatem and hope for the best. If he's not on, lump it.

I absolutely detest how every fucking free kick, no matter what the sitution or position on the field, has to be howked into the opposition area, we almost never take a quick free kick like every other team in the planet. An utterly bizarre way to play the game if you ask me, moreso if you've absolutely no fucking aerial threat whatsoever.

I simply can't comprehend how bad our set pieces are, I think anyone from here could turn up to training and show them some better set pieces than what we do currently.

Even when we have the chance to whip the ball in, we go for the chip/aimless punt that usually results in a foul against or a goal kick.  Or worse, a quick counter attack from the opposition.

We slow the game down everytime we get a free kick.  No urgency whatsoever.

Would like to know how many set pieces each side has had to see how good or bad everyone is at them in general, logically since man u and city probably have more corners and free kicks around the box than anyone else so more of a chance to score from one

The f***ing Mike Williamson thing is actually making me not want to watch our games. It's so embarrassing.

I honestly don't know why we keep doing it. Better to just aim for Demba or Cisse tbh, Williamson gets no power on them and they always end in nothing

Better to aim for nobody, just put it into a dangerous area with pace and put the onus on the attackers to get there.
