Tiote taking way too much heat. In reality he's trying to make things happen, and not just passing it backwards or sideways constantly, for someone else to fuck up.

There's no options for him whatsoever, but he has the right attitude.

The team just stinks.

embarrassing display. steve sidwell running rings around us. pardew continues to be defensive and yet there seems to be endless space for them when they work it?

We barely trouble teams like, I know we had that Ba chance there but apart from that we never attack their full backs at high tempo and try and stretch them. That tiote attempt to pass back to Santon sums up how fucking terrible we are at playing football. So wasteful, slow, lethargic, no tempo at all and hardly any threat. Anita played well after about 20 mins and Santon is ok. Rest of them are fucking terrible

Well, that was the usual.

Seemed like there are sprouts of wanting to do the right things, but players like Jonas and Tiote seem to have forgotten how to play football. Basic passes going astray.

We're, as predicted by the whole forum, actually getting into dangerous areas of the pitch [albeit without being especially dangerous when we get there!] by short pass and move up the pitch rather than those infuriatingly futile early balls - which we are still seeing too much of.

Fulham doing look any great shakes, but are organised reasonably well and capable of a moment of magic here and there. (ie. Berba)

At least we have a great record of coming back from beh-...

Different day, same... Newcastle :(

Edit: Oh, and props to Danny Simpson. Man of the half for us. Staggeringly. Cisse has been AWFUL.
