Gallowgate Toon
He'll be fine. Probably just settling in to the side and whatnot.
AlanSkÃrare
He's a little bit of experience away from a very complete defender. Has a few moments but still looks every inch the player I thought he would be. His pace is vital for us.

I think his quality is there to be seen and the fact that we don't talk about him as much as other dudes on the pitch shows his steady hand. He'll come good and be a great defender, I hope he's with us for a long time.
Tiresias
There was that moment when he looked stranded out of position but ran back incredibly quickly and recovered, what we've needed
Hanshithispantz
He seems to think he's a better footballer than he is like (fuck knows what he was doing yesterday on the wing ). He needs to stick to task atleast until we get our game together a bit.

Sifu
Despite a few dodgy moments last night, he'll be fine and will be a mainstay at CB for us for many years to come imo. Have to remember that he's only 23 so he is still learning really...

We've never really had that problem with Coloccini.

Mbiwa has massive potential when he finds his feet and Taylor is fucking brilliant at the all action body on the line stuff (which we really need at the minute) but Coloccini is a class above. I know exactly what you mean.... if he thinks he's better than he is ( which there is a high possibility of tbh) then his confidence is at obscene levels considering how f*cking class he is. Hanshithispantz
Coloccin's first season wasn't even that bad imo, he went massively off the boil in the latter half and started making some ridiculous mistakes but his quality was all ways there to see, the same with Jose. Cleanly great footballers but the football we were playing just had them under far too much pressure. The same is happening this season with a few. Cajun
Colo has made a canny few mistakes himself tbh. Certainly hasn't performed anywhere near the level he did last season.
Hanshithispantz
Because we're constantly on the back foot imo. If the team is playing the poorly the defence is under more pressure than they should and end up looking a massive joke unless they're fit for that purpose. Taylor is more of a defend in the box type so he's suited to it more, like Vidic, Terry et al. Coloccini would be fucking useless at Stoke for example, they'd be better off sticking with Shawcross. The College Dropout
Colo has no pace and is often victimised by fast strikers when we play a high line. MYM was poor on Thurs imo but he's got quality.
Hanshithispantz
Aye, pacey hard working strikers and massive fuck off beasts have always been Colo's kryptonite, he isn't physical enough to deal with them. Having Mbiwa alongside him in theory would solve this.
The College Dropout
I'm not sure MYM is great in the air. Colo isn't either. Saylor's comfortably the best in the air in the whole squad.

Hanshithispantz
I don't think battering rams would be as much of a problem if we can push out which Mbiwa obviously allows us to do. Being good in the air obviously helps a lot like. Maybe I'm just thinking in too simple-a terms there though.

Agreed but it wouldn't hurt to have someone who dominates at set pieces and crosses though.

Gallowgate Toon
Saw him play plenty last year, he has tremendous ability on the ball and has at times displayed that for us, but he seemed more confident in his earlier showings. He's probably just had a bit of a confidence shock at the pace and physicality of the game and is getting used to communicating in a new language, let's not forget this is his first move from a club and he's still young. He has a lot of ability and I'm convinced that'll translate into consistency next season.
joeyt
Just seemed yesterday and previous games, he unnecessarily gives away possesion. There was one time yesterday where he just hoofed it straight to their goalkeeper for some reason
