Teasy
Surprising we are satisfied with barely clawing our money back. His value will be increasing all the time. We are absolute mugs when selling man, we only did 1 good sale deal in recent memory and that was 35M. The rest have all been sold well below value. Our recent record isn't great like, especially with the cunt ruining players and forcing them out on the cheap. Got a great deal with Carroll and good money for Debuchy, but we should have got at least £25m for Cabaye. We've also basically chucked away three of our best players in Ben Arfa, Yanga-Mbiwa and Marveaux for a combined £4m due to kingcunt being utterly clueless. themanupstairs
Pardew is a fucking waste of oxygen. Come on Steve Parish you bellend ffs.
Unbelievable
That 5 million euros has been known for ages hasn't it? I hadn't heard about the 20 game clause. We were desperate to see the back of him apparently. You have to wonder why.

mrmojorisin75
Any chance Mapou will return too? buyout clause in the loan deal so almost certainly not Based on games played? Recall him before he hits the mark and job done. No way he'd ever come back to us with another offer on the table imo. Absolutely wouldn't blame him either. r0cafella
Damn shame it's probably too late for Mapou.
toontownman
He hates the league more than he hated being in newcastle and working with Pardew. Not a chance he is coming back.
Zero
if we are willing to pay Roma for removing clause, may be.

Jack Flash
There are very few sides worldwide who would not benefit from a player of Yanga-Mbiwa's quality We're that good.

duo
Still can't believe how badly Pardew managed this lad......would ruin any player to loose your place to Wlliamson. Barely got a look in.
timeEd32
In many ways this is Pardew's biggest crime, especially now that he's fucked off.

simonlemagnifique
No sources, and the Mag don't half print some shite, but... http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/roma-drop-mapou-yanga-mbiwa-avoid-contract-clause-buy/ During the winter break, Sky Sport Italia broke the story that there was a clause in Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa’s loan agreement, which meant that if the Frenchman played twenty times during his loan spell then AS Roma are obliged to make the deal permanent with a £5.5m transfer fee. This news was covered widely in the Italian press with the expectation that Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa was on the verge of completing a permanent move to AS Roma once the January window opened. mapou yanga-mbiwaMoving on loan to Rome just before the summer transfer window closed, the French international had become Roma’s best and most consistent defender. Getting his chance early due to injury, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa kept his place and established himself in the heart of the defence. In the process, the on loan defender played a total of seventeen times before that winter break in Italy, including two as a sub, winning back his place in the French national squad in the process. The two matches before the winter break saw Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa and his defensive team-mates continue their good work, keeping clean sheets against both Genoa and AC Milan. The January transfer window opened but with no immediate permanent deal completed for the on-loan Newcastle defender. Then to the amazement of both the Roma fans and the Italian press, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa was dropped for the first game after the winter break against Udinese, then left on the bench for the derby with Lazio. Over the course of the two matches, Roma used six substitutes in total but ignored Mapou. The story emerging in Italy is that Roma are holding off playing Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa to avoid triggering the £5.5m buying clause and are giving themselves a couple of matches leeway in case they need him in an emergency. The Italian club hoping that they negotiate a better deal in the summer or preferably this month. Any chance of Mike Ashley agreeing to buy in January appears to rest on funds being generated by the sale of players, if players who aren’t wanted such as Mapou can’t be sold on this month, then the chances of seeing a much needed striker and/or (ironically) a centre-back appear to be minimal. With Roma only three points behind leaders Juventus and nine points clear of the third placed club, it will be interesting to see how Mapou’s loan club react if either Astori or Manolas (the pair who have played the last two matches) get injured. LFEE
I believe its true regarding the 20 game trigger as read it before in a couple of places and did wonder if this would happen as his appearances had stalled for no apparent reason. Bring him back with HBA and give them both to the new Head Coach.
