He's been great in Italy this season and if anything his value will have increased from what we agreed with Roma last summer. I'm sure other sides, especially in Italy, will have taken notice and more teams will be interested as well. Still 3 and a half years left on his contract here. Guess you have to protect the team loaning the player though. Say it got to Jan 31st and we just turned around and said we wanted him back, Roma would be screwed until the summer. Not really a no lose though as they can't play him...except for 2 games. If they don't play him, then his stock has risen somewhat so we'd easily get the same fee. Only loser is Mapou bless him. That combined with the loan fee and wages, Roma are starting to think they can get better for less. Or may be it is what it's reported and Roma don't rate him. Astroblack Posted January 18, 2015 Share Posted January 18, 2015 Watched the Roma match. This guy was everywhere. He tackled, he headed, he burst forward. He was a CB playing like a DM at times. It makes me sick that he doesn't play for us. He's so talented. He's proven it in France and Italy. He was never given a fair show here and when he was he was shunted out to LB. Next season, we're damn near fucked. We'll need another CB. Colo is old. Willo is shit, and Taylor is crocked most of the time.
