Disco
Yup, pretty much any attainable manager would be affordable. For reference - http://www.insidespanishfootball.com/86035/carlo-ancelotti-named-highest-paid-coach-in-la-liga/ Plus as I've said before NUFC (politics aside) is a no lose job currently. Do well - everyone loves you, Do shit - Ashley is the overarching problem, you leave reputation intact.

Do well - everyone loves you, Do shit - Ashley is the overarching problem, you leave reputation intact. Yep, and many European coaches are used to somebody else being in charge of recruitment. It's less than two years ago that Arsene Wenger was claiming it was unfair that Newcastle had signed so many great players in the transfer window because some teams had already played our shite twice. It's unbelievable how much one man's incompetence has persuaded so many people that we've actually signed a load of rubbish.

Unfortunately for us the patsy in the dugout is so clueless he spends 100% of his time trying to do this without success.
KaKa
Not Bruce anyway. Like for like. Bruce is about the best we could hope for, Ashley does not pay enough for anyone decent. Plus would anyone decent really want to work under Ashley? Remember some pundit saying that Koeman should step down before the season due to all the players being sold off. He was claiming he would have stood down himself, and no one would want the job. People with real ability, who actually know what they're doing would jump at the chnace to manage this club, and the players we have. Best believe it. Ikon
I hope that Carr gets the chance to have a big influence on Ashley and which manager we should go for. I just want bloody f***ing good football again at least.
Ronaldo
What does Graham Carr know about the necessities for a suitable PL manager? He was an utterly shit fourth division one himself.

EthiGeordie
I hate some of the fans who are saying Moyes is too defensive. Go and watch circus. How long will it take for people to realize the KK era long gone and it will never never come back.

Village Idiot
I really want him to manage a team that actually has a pot to p*ss on. At the very least he has the kind of philosophy and personality that would endear people to the club again.
TRon
Moyes wants the job according to tomorrow's mirror. I know many people think he wouldn't come here but I think he'd jump at the chance. He needs to rebuild his career in the premier and a high profile club like Newcastle is probably as good an offer as he will get. I don't think any of the big clubs would be in for him after what happened at Man U. Personally I think he'll struggle with Carr's players for the same reason as Pardew. He's a defensive manager with old fashioned ideas.
Danh1
Don't want any British manager in an ideal world, much rather look abroad for someone with fresh ideas rather than your typical tried and failed journeyman doing the rounds over here. Current circumstances though I'm not arsed, would even have someone like David O'Leary here over cunt.

He's a defensive manager with old fashioned ideas. in theory but heres the key problem, Mike Ashley. Mike Ashley who doesn't want to try in the slightest in the cups or compete for europe or compete in any meaningful fashion just exist to advertise sports direct. Now if your Moyes why the fuck would you go for that when there's literally almost any other club in the premier league who would try to compete or try in the cups, let him make his own transfers and pay him more. Also his next job is vital for his career to proverbially say the man utd thing wasn't his fault but a club issue etc and he's still an excellent manager-the best way to do that is win a trophy. He can do a lot better than here.

henke
Never gonna happen but I'd love Glenn Hoddle. But it's irrelevant as Pardew's going nowhere.
Chris_R
As someone who is now exiled in Bournemouth, I'd love to see Eddie Howe get a crack at a big club. Plays good football, can operate on a shoestring, players seem happy to run through walls for him. What he's done at Bournemouth in two spells has been remarkable. Chris_R
After moving down here I lived in Westbourne (Burnaby Road, since you probably know the area!) for 5 years until last year, now moved to Poole.
Ronaldo
He's a defensive manager with old fashioned ideas. Like winning games by scoring goals and not letting them in, how retro. Moyes is no less progressive in his approach than your hero at Liverpool.
