Jimburst
Get in lad, looked good against tired legs, strong, fast and intelligent in possession. Took his goal well.
Guest
Gets himself into goalscoring positions, in his few cameo appearances lately he's looked more of a threat than Cisse. I'd be tempted to start him against Hull.
Beren
Should be a starter for me. His intelligence to check back, hold up the ball and try to work the opposition open instead of just driving the ball towards the goal using the shortest displacement distance is essential. Additionally, he's strong, gets in good positions and good technique.
Gallowgate Toon
Deserves a start now.

Pilko
Nice way to put those two very bad misses in the previous two home games to one side. Great cameo. Would love to see the lad score at SJP.
nufcjb
Nice way to put those two very bad misses in the previous two home games to one side. Great cameo. Would love to see the lad score at SJP. Was about to say the same thing. Shame really that his goal will be overshadowed by the great Ben Arfa performance. If Hatem wasn't on fire like he was today and Gouff scored the winner, I'm pretty sure people will talk about the winner and how he has redeemed himself after the two sitters he's had, especially the one against West Ham.. Wil
Deserves a start ahead of Papiss at the moment, would be good for both of them. But it looks like Pardew just sees him as an off the bench player, and always has when the other forwards are fit.
The College Dropout
Glad for him. Seems a nice lad too.
KaKa
Always in great positions, just been a bit unlucky so far this season. Gets the goal at last today. I don't even remember Cisse getting so many opportunities. Gouff from the start!!!
Guest icemanblue
Fantastic when he came on, like. Very direct and positive, and he took his goal really well.
Shak
Looks to me like a very good squad player, not brilliant at anything but quick, hard working and has a few goals in him. Might be worth a start or two soon if Cisse can't find his form.
Unlucky Luque
Cisse would've smashed that chance into the stands tbh tbf
The College Dropout
Seems to get more chances than Cisse.... if it's fresh legs helping him get into positions maybe Cisse should play that role off the bench until he finds the net
TRon
Absolutely chuffed for the lad, even without the goals his movement and work rate are first class. He has already proven to be an invaluable squad player.
Ryan
Delighted for him. Just what he needed after the past couple of games.

Ikon
I like him a lot. Would love to see him start against Hull insteaad of Cissé.
Belfast Mags
The Goof is going to do OK for us. Not going to tear up any trees, but will compliment what we already have well. Well done lad
BrettNUFC
If he had of managed to turn that one in against West Ham, we would be level on points with the league leaders

We should have had a penalty and Cabaye should have squared it. Overall, I'm satisfied with our points tally so far. It should be 9/12, but we've got what we deserve from every match so far, imo. Yeah, that was pretty much what I was getting at, it's swings and roundabouts. Luck/decisions etc will generally even out eventually.
Ronaldo
Really good sub to have. Don't think he's the poacher or finisher Cisse is but he keeps it simple, direct and positive and grafts his 'nads off.
1964
I also think that chance was a lot harder than it looked. We have seen so many times where the ball is smacked over the bar. He caught it perfectly and it was a great finish. Compare it to the Eto'o 'tap in' where fair enough Barry got a foot across but he shouldn't have had a chance of reaching that.
