steve_69
Hopefully Pardew leaving will see the resergence of Gouffran. No player has been Pardewed as badly as this guy and it's a fucking disgrace.
r0cafella
Going to be a fair number of our squad absolutely shitting themselves at the prospect of potentially working with a proper manager. Big Vurn must have smashed one out at the thought of having an actual chance.
Guest axel
That's probably the most retarded thing i've ever seen in a football match.
Pilko
Groaned when he came on, thinking it was going to be ten men behind the ball, but he got into similar positions to Cabella and put the game to bed before he started to defend. 2 goals since Pardew left after not scoring in 40-odd games
Beren
Had a reasonable spell of scoring in home games when he arrived as I recall.
STM
I've always maintained Gouffran was Pardewed, I'm not saying he's a world beater but he will chip in with goals and assists... and hard work, which isn't a sin.
AyeDubbleYoo
He's alright, he's just not a winger, midfielder or auxiliary fullback.
Chicane
He scored six goals last season iirc, all in the first half of the campaign. I think we were playing 4-3-3 mostly then and he was more than just a second full-back
Leazes1986
Carver: ‘Was it a brave call leaving Gouffran out?’ “Well it was because it is important we start winning football matches and we have done that today. “When you win it is a great decision but if we’d lost then people might have questioned that decision. “The important thing though is we have a group of players to win games.”
Ronaldo
Pardewed like Gutierrez and almost sissoko and turned into the team scapegoat. This is rubbish. For a long time he's been giving the team absolutely nothing from an attacking or defensive perspective. Two of the luckiest goals you'll ever see doesn't change that. He's quite clearly not a great attacking footballer.
Darth Crooks
I'd hardly call yesterday's one of the luckiest you'll ever see like.

M1tche
Deflection was a bit lucky, but the positive run and shot deserved that bit of luck.
The College Dropout
Deflection was a bit lucky, but the positive run and shot deserved that bit of luck. That's the difference now. He's actually getting into goal scoring positions. He has a decent knack for being in the right position at the right time when he actually tries to attack. Dokko
It was on target, but tame and easily saved had it not been for the deflection. He did well to get to that position. I think we'll start seeing players such as him improve a little under someone who isn't Pardew. He probably won't get back to where he was when he joined but its not impossible. Darth Crooks
Deflected or not it's nice to be having shots on goal at least. Hope it continues against stiffer opposition.
Tiresias
It helped a lot that all the hull players couldn't be bothered tackling him. Pleased he's got a goal, if he gets some confidence to shoot and is allowed in more natural positions for him he may be a useful player again. I still would hate to see him starting on the wing. He's a sub at the very best and has been out of any form so long it's hard not to hope once aarons is back he's not seen again
biggs
Since Pardew has gone he looks a lot more interested and a fret going forward than we have been accustomed too

AyeDubbleYoo
He's no longer a footballer. The damage was done by Pardew but WHY THE FUCK DOES CARVER ALSO THINK HES A CENTRAL MIDFIELDER?
