Flip
He's a c*** and needs sacked but he deserves some credit for today and cannot be faulted for the second half IMO. Are you insane brah? Obviously his whole philosophy of sit back, defend, and his tactics and god awful management are ingrained on all things team wise at the moment so technically he is at some fault aye, but... Howay, we go in after the break and go right for them, doing what we did for the first 45. And then they score. He can't be faulted for how we played after they scored. Did we really go right at them. Am I the only one who didn't really think our first half was great. We were decent as we have been for couple of halfs this season but it was nothing special. Guest Haris Vuckic
We were pressing high up the pitch and attacking them from the start of the first half. An error from Williamson - an avoidable one - got us a little shook up.
BottledDog
So mock if you wish that "credit where credit is due" or "negative no matter what" but the top and bottom of it is, Newcastle United is better than this, deserves better than this and should be striving for better than this. Right, well, that's proper taken the edge off. I'll be out trying to find solace in a pint or five. Have a cracking weekend lads!
Pata
We were pressing them high and looked dangerous in the first half. Continued the same high pressing after the HT and were totally cruising to the win. Then they scored a soft goal due to an individual error which unsurprisingly got the crowd back in to the game and lifted their players. We still dealt with them well and Mutch was the only one creating anything for them while we could have scored couple more. It's quite usual for a promoted team to get a spark from an undeserved goal that got the crowd back in the game. I just can't see this second half as the usual Pardew effect when we are leading at HT. I want Pardew sacked but at least give the man some credit when he's done well or just stay out of this thread for a couple of days..
Varadi
He must be so pissed off with the way we threw the Hull game away - 3 points there and we would be joint 3rd now.
Guest reefatoon
Paradew has turned into Shola. Just when you think you are about to get rid of the cunt after some disgusting displays, he pulls something out the bag to keep the agony going. God help us all. Gallowgate Toon
Fair play for today, some bold moves. Massively disappointed in him for dropping Anita though, completely undeserved.

Gallowgate Toon
Some good comments from him after the game. Said he wants to keep the team 'looking' offensive and said we'll just have to accept that there might be games it runs away from us but it's important that we stick with it. Edit: NUFCTV interview. Yorkie
I know it was only in jest, I think, but when you rack it up alongside all the other negative soundbites, it's frustrating to listen to. Oh well, not gonna dwell on his bullshit again. Good win, good job. On to the next one. Let's see what next week's like.
Belfast Mags
Comments were in jest, and he's right, nobody's sure if we're really good, or really bad, we're all "scratching our heads"
thenige
Unpopular selection and substitutes that ultimately paid off. Yes, we sat back too much after their goal, but I can only think of one clear cut chance after that. Tiote played well, and we didn't miss Hatem that much in terms of creating chances. Not a great deal to complain about tonight. There's no space for considered logic that this here, you should be ashamed. We get fifty thousand fans in a week and have some players who are decent in FM - we should be winning every game by at least three goals and doing it like Keegan's entertainers. TaylorJ_01
Criticised him for not playing hba/Anita/mym, he proved what I know, s*** all, great result, great tactics! Got a bit nervy when they scored which once again our players need to improve on but overall it was a sense of relief and satisfaction! Love international breaks on the back of a win!....Apologies to those who wanted him to lose so he would be sacked! Such a wum cunt.
aussiemag
We cant continue with Williamson in the centre of defence, we will be destroyed by both Arsenal and Liverpool. HBA needs to start on the opposing flank to Remy with either Cisse/Gouffran up top. I dont mind the midfield 3 of Tiote, Sissoko and Cabaye for the big games. Tiote seems to perform against the better sides, happy for Anita to come in against lesser opposition.

mrmojorisin75
if i was pardew i'd contemplate 5 at the back with mym sweeping behind colo & taylor (if fit)...not sure we can go with a flat back 4 against them myself like
