Manchester City's owners are prepared to back manager Pep Guardiola with £150m to spend ahead of the January transfer window, according to the Daily Mirror.

The German coach in his debut season in England has already spent £175m this summer securing some high-profile transfers, but is set to be offered extra funds to improve his team, who currently top the Premier League table.

Among the former Bayern Munich coach's transfer targets are Arsenal's 21-year-old right-back Hector Bellerin, rated at £40m and Borussia Dortmund's £50m-rated frontman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 27.

That’s right. In the midst of the international week struggle, The Sun have resorted to leading their back page with the ‘SHOCK CLAIM’ that Arsenal – a club – are ‘bigger than’ Wenger – a manager. That’s huge.

Faroes beat Latvia away. Did the double on Greece last quals. They have a smaller pop than Andorra who I don't believe have ever won.

They also drew with Hungary in their last match, they are currently 2nd in their group, 1 point ahead Portugal.

It's actually nice to see some of the smaller nations developing.
