For some reason I've played out in my head a scenario where the start of Football Focus is Lawro trying his hand at live stand-up, and making several jokes about 'Alan Anson' to, at best, a mixed response.

Neil for BBC Controller.

Went to a hockey game between Linkoping and Djurgarden a few years ago, Djurgarden's football hooligans decided to make it an away trip, and I saw some of the most disgusting behaviour I have ever seen, men jumping into the family section and throwing fists at parents protecting their kids, as well as the arena stewards.

Not surprised the least. Don't know what's happend here tbh. It's all gone tits up in the past 10 years or so, escalating now more than ever. Last night was another shambles. Nobody (the poster) will tell you more as I'm sure he was there. AIK played IFK Gothenburg in their season opener. Game was interrupted twice. First because of a fire in one stand, a 9-year old was hit by a flare, the supporter who threw it was badly beaten, someone ran onto the pitch. Then the ref threatened to abandon the game because his assistant was being hit by too many objects from the stands.

This is, to put things into perspective, the day after a fan was killed in Helsingborg. Another thing that I noticed yesterday was the hooligan firm of AIK, Firman Boys, hanging their banner over another supporter initiative in the stadium with no action being taken from stewards or club. The day after their idea of "support" had taken an innocent man's life.

And the quality of football isn't even good here, there's no joy in our game. It's almost as tragic as NUFC.

Had it been any other day, I wouldn't have thought it was that bad, but because of what happened the day before, it was just tasteless and idiotic. The first time the game was interrupted was because the fire alarms went off because of the flares and that the roof was closed, I'm not sure I buy the 9-year old being hit by one tbh, it all seems very strange to me as I was sat right under the Gothenburg supporters and I feel like I would have seen something. I don't particularly like the flares, but I don't really mind them either.

Second time was a bit of a disgrace considering our history with throwing things on the pitch and people ought to know by now that it doesn't take much for a game to be called off over here. However, it surely can't have been much worse than what happened at Old Trafford yesterday, and nothing will be made of that.

There was apparently quite a bit of bother round town as well before kick off, which I find more staggering tbh. Just calm the fuck down you bunch off tossers.

Don't really mind flares either, our stadiums/stewards/governing powers just aren't used to handling them.

Looking beyond the bother, Friends and Tele2 should be catalysts for Stockholm as the home of teams in the same mould as FC Köpenhamn and Rosenborg, there's no reason why not. Really hope things turn for the better over the season.

They've been prevalent for over a decade now, but instead of actually trying to learn how to deal with them, they have just slapped bans and higher and higher fines on them, as well as threatening to abandoning games if they are lit. Such a shite way to try and deal with something

Well flares have killed in South America, although different types of flare. No point in using them, even more idiotic in a stadium that is closed so the smoke delays the game for a bit.

Barcelona have been given a transfer ban for the next two transfer windows for breaching rules relating to "the international transfer of minors", FIFA has announced.

No central defender for next season. Can see them splashing the cash on renewing Valdes contract now.
