I once had to go into Frankland to do a little job, very strange feeling inside a jail - as an innocent coward....

I saw Albert Dryden, the guy who shot a council official that was trying to get his house knocked down after he built it in the middle of nowhere up near to Consett without planning permission.  He looked very sad and lonely....

Good mate of mine, use to be a prison officer there. He had to supervise Peter Tobin (the prick who murdered women and buried them under patios), among others.

Did he get mates rates on a new gravel drive,?

His ex-girlfriend might be in line for some for some compensation. Quite canny of her to stand by him until he was convicted, suffering the shame publicly will surely make her case stronger for the settlement.

She probably won't be entitled to anything but child support. That is based on income and would be a maximum of £15,000 per year, but would probably be next to nothing as he no longer has an income.

Apparently, she's from a pretty wealthy background anyway. Whatever reason she had for standing by him, it probably wasn't money.

Considering he's the father of a child with her he'll possibly willingly give her plenty of money. He'll have multiple millions. He supposedly earned just under £3m alone since being charged a year ago. He'll have to make what he's got now last the rest of his life but considering a Premiership footballer makes more in a year than most of us will in our whole life I'm sure he'll manage.

Read that Sun story this morning. It's total speculation. It's unlikely he would be in the same security category to make him go to Frankland. More chance he will end up on the specialist nonce wing at HMP Northumberland, unless he gets whacked with the full ten years........

Mackem on the radio saying Sunderland's hand were tied - they couldnt sack him because it was pre-judging guilt. Then if he was found not guilty, they sacked an innocent man.

Also saying everyone is sexist and can't deal with the fact Margaret Byrne is a woman   Oh and the media are a disgrace for the way they're going after Sunderland

Suspension is not viewed as a punishment and therefore Sunderland would have done nothing wrong by keeping him suspended.

The issue is not because they didn't sack him, the issue is un-suspending him and playing him.

If Johnson did any work with the Sunderland kids in the academy of light over the past 12 months they will get a huge fine and possibly have their coaching suspended for not disclosing his crimes to the DBS

Should've asked him how the Beeb were able to suspend their presenters until their court cases.

Just think if we are 2 points adrift of Sunderland in 17th on the final game, and Sunderland get a huge fine and 3 points deducted.  That would be wonderful.

We'd still end up going down though

How?

Isn't the question why they kept playing him pretty clear though? They were (are) s*** and needed the nonce to stay in the Premier League.

Yes. They valued staying on the Premier League gravy train as more important than the feelings and well being of the victim and her family.
