Dokko
Fletcher to be sold next week to wham for £6m. Giac also supposed to be back to Italy for £4m. Nice little wedge if Gus is allowed to spend it.

Nice little wedge if Gus is allowed to spend it. Those are his best playersd. They are arguably their only assets with any real value, if Poyet wants to bring his own players in they do seem the most likely to leave.

Nice little wedge if Gus is allowed to spend it. Fletcher is injury prone but probably their best player imo. Very sensible decision to speed up relegation! Then again Hippo Heed might be stuck with two crocks in Carroll and Fletcher meaning they might go down too! All very amusing watching from our lofty position! Stifler
Why would they sell their striker to West Ham who is their relegation rivals?
Ashley17
Why would they sell their striker to West Ham who is their relegation rivals? Their squad is full, they need to sell to buy, they'll get more for him now than they will in the summer, he's got a gammy shoulder and is generally quite injury prone, they play one up and it seems Altidore is Poyet's first choice. Which surely makes it less likely that West Ham would go for him, especially since they already have Carroll on their books, who hasn't played (much/at all) since joining them permanently. Yes because West Ham exercise caution in all of their deals. Allardyce is the 13th best paid manager in the world ffs, everything they do is short term. If Fletcher scores a handful of goals and wins them a couple of games he'll have been worth the money.
