Is there a massive difference between de Jong's and Debuchy's tackle I'd have to look at Debuchy's tackle again to judge it, of course one big difference is he got the ball cleanly and made no contact with the player. Was still a red just because it could have gone so wrong but at least this shows his intent was always only to win the ball. De Jong however had a history of going out to hurt people and it just so happens he takes our best player out of the game by accident.. It was more the general disdain I've seen for LDJ on twitter, seems odd when our other options are Cisse and Shola Most are just looking at his goalscoring record without releasing he's not been fit and hardly played..... but in any case i'll wait until i see something more reliable.
