Hazard, Oscar, Schurrle and Willian is their future now. They need a proper striker so those three can really prosper. Don't think Lukaku is good enough yet, but don't see how it wouldn't benefit them longterm to play 3 behind Lukaku from now on. Suspect they were just letting him focus on the CL and getting fit. I'd be amazed if he isn't leading the line for Chelsea next season. We surrender all comps except Prem so goals in others don't really matter. Cabaye played less than half a season, scored same number of Prem goals as Sidwell. Sissoko got 3 playing out of position on the wing, Cheick had a perfectly legitimate goal disallowed against City and Anita got one against Hull I think. I get what you're saying but he's not for us, he would've been a good squad player about five years ago. We need to flesh the squad out with quality or youth.
