Nobody
Why the fuck did we register four keepers?
James
Didn't think we even needed to register u21s
AyeDubbleYoo
Surely if we have 3 first-team keepers, and two are injured, that's an emergency. Does Woodman count even though he's a kid out on loan?
TaylorJ_01
I think it's only an emergency if you are in the top 5.

timeEd32
After first-choice goalie Tim Krul was ruled out for the rest of the season with a serious knee injury, Steve McClaren has been frantically trying to work out who to bring in as cover, and it appears as if Valdes could be the man for the Magpies. The only thing stopping a potential deal? Valdes' nemesis, Louis van Gaal, is not willing to terminate the Spaniard's contract if he plans to leave for a domestic rival. We're not a threat to you Louis. Just let it happen.

We're not a threat to you Louis. Just let it happen. Surely the way McShteve has been licking Van Gaal's balls in the media will have tickled the latter's massive ego and he may just let Valdes go? Either way, don't see the PL itself allowing this, since we have 9 registered keepers or something.
Hanshithispantz
PL cannot stop it if his contract is terminated can they?

Guest Roger Kint
PL cannot stop it if his contract is terminated can they? They can before January as we registered the full 25 man list
Hanshithispantz
We need him, or someone like. We'll go down with Elliott in goal until January, no doubt about it.

AyeDubbleYoo
Valdes would be amazing but I can't see how we would be allowed to sign him, even if we could afford his wages.

Unless Elliott (and probably Woodman, while Darlow is injured) gets injured, that's what we have regardless

Disco
Your general fan are/were big fans of the way Sissoko and Ba, HBA carry(ed) on so signing more players of that ilk is bound to work out well.

Ryan
'Valdes open to Newcastle move'...no quotes at all. Would love it to happen and I'm pretty sure he'd jump at the chance to come here but I just can't see us going in for him.
