Parker got tainted after those 4 games with Bournemouth, think he’s proven he isn’t a bad manager when it comes down to it by now.

 

However if he tries to play football with Burnley in the coming season like he has in the championship they will get dicked most weeks.

I was quite taken aback by its savagery. I'd have thought that the Sports Editor would have got him to tone it down.

 

I also think he got it wrong in essence. I don't think Ange has a false image that he's created for himself, as I think is being implied. I think he's a bit thin-skinned, and stubborn when it comes to dealing with criticism, or even advice. He's struggled to live up to his own ideals, but I don't see him as a phoney.

His main interest as a writer is sticking the knife in to something or someone. That’s his purpose every time he writes an article, the lad obviously has a lot of anger
