Another club where DoF (or whatever Edu role is) has far too much power. Siding with Edu over Nuno is mental. Hope the Greek mobster sees it all collapse now and they go down next season.

Marinakis is the decision maker

Edu will do what he's told.

For Wolves, Forest how can you not rate him? His style makes for a great coach in the mid tier sort of clubs.

Yea. I don’t rate him overall as a coach, but he’s clearly had something going at Forest and they’re performing above their levels. A new manager isn’t going to get them any better and if anything, the dressing room probably dips and results drop by players efforts dropping just 2%

Oh yea, but Edu has wielded the transfer power this summer and Nuno set his stall out early it would be him or Edu, and Marinakas has gone with Edu.

So edu has come in and done the job he was hired to do?

Again, the bottom line is Marinakis is in charge and has made his decision. People will be up in arms about it but ultimately nothing much will change. Forest are a mid table team.

It's interesting sky have reported Wilson and Edu will be finding the replacement given various media are saying Wilson is coming here.

There was a report from one of our local journos (possibly Douglas so tske it with a pinch of salt), that we aren’t going for Wilson now.

Douglas is usually wrong though

Will laugh if they give it to Andy Howe

Think Forest got a bit lucky last season (similar to when we finished fifth) - unsustainably good finishing plus a solid low block. That said they've tried to build on it at least, unlike Ashley.

Nuno's clearly done a very good job there though and at Wolves. Might be in his interests to get a new job now while his stock's high.

Owners got Trumpian vibes - feel anyone who goes there isn't going to last long. Might be best for somone looking for a quick payday.

You're getting at the point I'm making tbf. It's good for mid-tier teams, if Forest can get someone who can keep the defensive solidity while also having more strings to their bow than just counter attacking, they can improve.

Basically, I just think if your only real tactic as a manager is to defend well and counter attack, then you're nothing to write home about.
