So edu has come in and done the job he was hired to do? Again, the bottom line is Marinakis is in charge and has made his decision. Checko Posted September 9, 2025 Share Posted September 9, 2025 Think Forest got a bit lucky last season (similar to when we finished fifth) - unsustainably good finishing plus a solid low block. That said they've tried to build on it at least, unlike Ashley. Nuno's clearly done a very good job there though and at Wolves. Might be in his interests to get a new job now while his stock's high. It's good for mid-tier teams, if Forest can get someone who can keep the defensive solidity while also having more strings to their bow than just counter attacking, they can improve. Basically, I just think if your only real tactic as a manager is to defend well and counter attack, then you're nothing to write home about.
