Stinks of some West Ham desperation.

Leeds i reckon for Jose

FWIW, Jose said (IIRC, at least something along the lines of) when he signed for Fenerbache that his next club after them would be a club that normally doesn't qualify for any UEFA competitions and that it would be his last club job (implying national management afterward). It would be a non-big team as he intended to end his club managerial career proving he truly was a special one by bring a club from nothingness to glory.

Hope he actually attempts doing that rather than phoning it in with another mid-club as for the neutral, success or failure, it'd be entertaining to follow.

Can we implement a ban rule now in advance for anyone who mentions this fucker if and when we hit a dodgy run of form this season

Don't worry. He doesn't even want us big shots.

I feel grubby using a Man U fan account but less grubby than using X. God bless embedding being sorted.

I’d like him back in the PL tbh. He’s a has-been and a cunt, but somewhat entertaining nonetheless. Would be fun to see him at a nothing club like Brentford or Burnley.

He spent most of his time there begging to get sacked and making enemies.

Remember that spat he had with ASM last year? Basically accused him of being fat and lazy.

Love him or hate him, Jose is box office, one of the great football personalities of the 21st century, but he is absolutely finished as a top end manager. Losing a EL tie to the managerial behemoth Barry Ferguson's and his Rangers team of perennial losers put paid to that.

I look forward to the 18292 page thread on RTG linking Jose to the mackems when Reygess le Breeey gets the bullet

Could be a return to Man Utd then ;)

I love West Ham, their pitch and stadium is delightful. The fans are further away from the pitch so they have less impact, combined with the best playing surface in the league (won the award last season for best playing surface) it's just carte blanche to destroy them.

It appears that Mourinho never evolved, he was amazing for a 5 year period with a certain set up and tactics but the game moved on and evidently, he did not.

from what I can remember in his Porto and Chelsea days, he and his team were quite revolutionary in amount of data gathered about opposition teams and how to counter them. Others caught up with this eventually and he hasn't been able to innovate to get ahead of the pack since.
