AyeDubbleYoo
That's quite a well-developed post for Dave these days.
Guest bimpy474
Thread title should really say "for moving his head towards David..." Was it even Alan Pardew? I'm not sure. It was, aye. I'd like to know what Meyler said to him before making a judgement. He didn't by the look of it, he pushed Pardew as he went to get the ball, Pardew came back at him because of it, well that's how it looked to me. Ameritoon
Thread title should really say "for moving his head towards David..." Was it even Alan Pardew? I'm not sure, would need to be there really. Seriously, just because he didn't make much contact doesn't mean it's not a headbutt.
Mike
Not sure if it's still copyright, so go onto Youtube and type in Soccer Saturday: Jeff Stelling's reaction to Alan Pardew's headbutt on David Meyler. That seems like legitimately the absolute worst sports show on Earth.
Guest neesy111
He clearly moves his head to Meyler on replays. In todays football world, I'd call it a headbutt.

LoveItIfWeBeatU
Not sure Pardew will be helped by Barton defending him. https://twitter.com/@Joey7Barton "Seen Pardew incident. As per usual. Massively over-hyped... "Got a lot of time for Pardew. Regardless of what I think, he is a top manager. One of the best I've worked with. Don't let a couple of stupid incidents detract from the job he has done at Newcastle. Especially with what goes on behind the scenes there."

LoveItIfWeBeatU
He said he isn't going to stand in the technical area any more. He said he'd sit in the dugout from now (obviously he's talking about when his inevitable ban is over).
