LRD
Yeah, they pretty much make up the rules as they go along. You can't trust them with transparent, fair and above-board decisions.

DubblyDubblyDubbly
Anyone know which FA rule has the legal authority to ban a paid employee of NUFC from the premises for X amount of Premier league games ?
Parky
Ashley should sue the FA if the ban is too punitive.

BlueStar
How does it compare with what Ince got his 5 match stadium ban for do we reckon, in terms of seriousness? Would have thought attacking an official was worse than a player. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/football-league/fa-evidence-reveals-stadium-ban-for-paul-ince-was-due-to-the-blackpool-manager-violently-shoving-an-official-and-threatening-to-knock-him-out-8886765.html
cp40
Anyway, this non-standard business and the lack of a proposed punishment suggests to me that they're planning on throwing the book at him big style. Personally think they wanted/expected him sacked, and will try and engineer this by making his position untenable(sp?) with a severe banning.

Definitely a lot worse than Pardew's actions though.

KaKa
So there is precedence for a stadium banning! Never knew that had been done before. Pardew is definitely going to get that then.

Rebellious
I`m getting a bit sick of "insert any Newcastle employee" reacts to a situation that they did not start and comes off worse punishment wise. If some twat pushed me like that then it would end in a similar fashion at work or not. In fact it has happened. To be honest if I got sacked I wouldn`t give a shit, I didn`t but still. As for a stadium ban that's nothing, Pardew`s nothing but a cheerleader on matchday, he does his work during the week. Its a known fact that during a match if things go tits up he is useless with subs and changing formation 20 times a game.
KaKa
Wonder if the FA would consider forcing him to play Ben Arfa and Marveaux 90 minutes for every game the rest of the season. He'd probably resign on the spot.
