New manager bounce, players who checked out under the last manager willing to try for the new one, hopefully a flash in the pan, no one wants to see the plastic mancs do well, except Singapore

It won’t last. But they were very decent today. City made no adjustment tactically, got caught on the counter again and again. Deserved what they got.

I don’t think they were much better here in the 1st leg. Tiredness killed us.

I'd have called you crazy if you had told me at the beginning of the season that Carrick would be the only manager not to lose a game at this stage of the season.

It sticks in my throat, but I thought they were excellent yesterday.  Attacking football at its best.  Wish we were like that.

Edit.  Even better that the performance was against Man City as I detest their manager and their style of football.

They’ve been awful to watch for years. Yesterday couldnt have been more of a case of new manager bounce with a bunch of players who are much better than how they looked in a very specific coaching system. The quality of their players going forward probably means that on average they’ll be better for the rest of the season than they have been for a while. However, Man U as a club has a deep rot and it won’t be long before the players give a lot less than they did yesterday

He’s such a whopper that cunt.

The butcher, I mean. Not the toesucker.

He's 100% right though.

The comments about him from Butt and Scholes were pathetic and highly disrespectful.

That's 7 games Haaland has played against Martinez and he's blanked in 6 of them.
