Personally found it really frustrating when Anita linked up play & then skinned a defender to set up Remy's decisive finish in the 90th against Chelsea.

Why he was that far forwards ive no idea, he doesnt realise his own limitations obviously.

And I'm always excited every time Tiote takes a long-range shot after his thunderbastard against Arsenal.

Anita played anchor for Ajax, recycling possession and covering for the defenders. Just because he passes better than most of our midfielders doesn't make him a creative player. Especially when you have a better option in Hatem.

Its ridiculous they go from saying 'we always score goals against them and its an easy three points at home every season' to 'well it doesnt matter that we haven't won there for a while thats all in the past'

They're also talking complete bollocks about easy wins at home every season.  They've played us at home six times in the last ten years.  Our record from those games is three wins, two draws and one loss.

tbf the same thing happens on here. "well we haven't won at XXXX since 1647" while at other times we'll say "xxxx haven't won here since mick was a teen"

The latter being the longer record.

Didn't he compare Ba to Harewood and Zamora though?

Ashton when fit was a very, very good footballer, but he doesn't hold a candle to Remy, Ba or Tevez and there's probably a few more Pardew's had too (Carroll actually).

I think without all the injuries Ashton could've been better than all of them but his career was just wrecked unfortunately.

Really not sure about today, as others have said so much depends on which version of our team turns up - anywhere near our best and we're winning this.

In that Saints forum link they seem more bothered about finding pubs to get smashed in

I'd like to know what route that fella is taking if Tilley's is 20 minutes from the ground.

They should enjoy all the excellent pubs we have close to the ground and around town in general, especially coming from a dump like Southampton which has about two decent pubs in the whole place.

Tilleys, The Forth, The Town wall, , Bodega, (all about 20mins from the ground, between the train station and SJP)

20 minutes.  Either they're thick as fuck and walking to the ground via the middle of town or they're all 89 years old.  20 mins from the Bodega to SJP, man.
