Ashton when fit was a very, very good footballer, but he doesn't hold a candle to Remy, Ba or Tevez and there's probably a few more Pardew's had too (Carroll actually). I think without all the injuries Ashton could've been better than all of them but his career was just wrecked unfortunately. Really not sure about today, as others have said so much depends on which version of our team turns up - anywhere near our best and we're winning this. They should enjoy all the excellent pubs we have close to the ground and around town in general, especially coming from a dump like Southampton which has about two decent pubs in the whole place.
