Jimburst
Definitely our best player on the night, probably along with Abeid (other than his woeful set pieces and long shorts).
KaKa
This quote from Pardew needs to make it into the thread title: "He’s only an eight stone Frenchman" http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/dec/02/burnley-newcastle-united-premier-league-match-report So sick of this kind of stupid talk. The guy is just dense.

buzza
Hope he starts instead of Pardew's illegitimate french son...
Hughesy
Was pretty good today when he came on - linked up well with Perez. Hard though with no movement around him.
Gallowgate Toon
He's generally a pass and move type, no doubt, looking most dangerous when he pulls inside and pops up in a central pocket. We look better with him as he's probably the best possession player we've got in the side. Gets his head up when on the ball and always tries to move forward with it, building attacks sensibly. Ayoze aside, our best mover off the ball too.
Cronky
He just seems to run into trouble too much of the time. It feels like he needs to go back to the drawing board and start adapting to a totally different league. Even then, I'm not sure he'll eventually make the grade in the Premiership. Would be a completely different player if there was actual movement around. It's the same as it was with HBA - our players (Perez apart) just watch him and expect to do it all himself. Gallowgate Toon
An avid fan of Sammy criticising a player for running into trouble too much
Dokko
Good chance of making it under Pardew....eventually. Think he's got the work rate and desire that is required to force himself in to the team and stay there. Think once he cracks it there's no going back, he'll be very good until he's sold. I know this gets said with a lot of players but it's especially true for a lad of Cabella's ilk. It's like Nasri at City, plays plenty out wide but you never see him really take people on in those areas, nor is he left isolated. He always has lots of options to combine with and build attacks. Players like that use their touch and agility to their advantage in tight, final third situations.
Parky
Is it my imagination or is Cabella getting the Hatem treatment?
Spudil
Is it my imagination or is Cabella getting the Hatem treatment? Pards is actually just in the middle portion of playing yet another blinder.
