KaKa
Hull deserve to go down for this. If they hadn't come in for him he would still be here, and Carver may have just played him. Friggin Bruce man.

sbnufc
Still no word on what he's doing? Found this article from L'Equipe dated Feb 19th Google translated (so somewhat badly ) bit about Ben Arfa: Hatem Ben Arfa (27 years, 13 caps for France) All the conditions seem ripe for the prodigal son makes his return to the country in the best conditions. All but one ... Despite a contract approved by the LFP, Hatem Ben Arfa will never be an official OGC Nice player because Fifa opposed qualification . Building on its regulation and believing that international midfielder had already evolved into two different clubs this season (Newcastle and Hull City), the maximum allowed, the former Lyon and Marseille had to face the facts and announced Gym departure, a few days after his arrival. After briefly contemplated retiring under the impact of disappointment, he quickly changed his mind to announce that he would fight . "The goal is to find the competition. I am ready to go to the North Pole to play " has he launched in early February, in reference to the many "exotic" Championships likely to be able to welcome in the short term. The opinion of his lawyer, Maître Jean-Jacques Bertrand: "Compared to all opinions issued by each other - Hatem Should replay faster or better prepared to return next season - there was a choice that will be done. But what I can say is that there are plenty of clubs that have already appeared. They proposals are ready to commit but Hatem does not rush. The restrictive situation he is not led so far to do anything. The possible scope is binding Championships as MLS and China, who return in March. There is a true reflection of the commitments have proposed in these countries. In England however, there would be no problem. We examine all possibilities, including that sign for a club that would free the June 30 and then participate in a new championship. " The possible outcome: return to England, the simplest In his misfortune, Hatem Ben Arfa has at least a chance of being fixed quickly. "The die is cast, said Philippe Piat. If the decision was made quickly is because we have been a number to put pressure on Fifa, myself, the secretary general of FIFPro Theo Seggelen, the League (LFP), the French Federation (FFF), the Nice club, his lawyer. Fifa is moved is because it warmed from all sides." Now, the player could unlock his situation is by joining a championship played in another hemisphere, or that takes place on a calendar year ( China , South America or still MLS ). Another possibility, perhaps the most simple: return to England, where the law is more flexible. However, it should find a club before March 24, the deadline set by the Football Association (FA) to recruit free agents.

Guest TruToon94
This guy is still heads and tails above any other player in our squad. Honestly Cabella looks like the poor mans version of poor old Benny. Here's hoping some miracle happens and he comes back under a decent manager. If he does though, it'll be in the same way as Faubert to Real, Owen to Man Utd, Kallstrom to Arsenal, etc.

KaKa
It's absolutely terrible that we are the club that ended up ruining this guy's career. At the end of the day, even if you buy into the idea that he was this lazy inconsistent guy, there are far worse in this league that are still getting games, without providing half of what Ben Arfa did as a forward threat. It's disgraceful. I despise Bruce for this crap too.
