Remember when Pardew was saying he'd be playing the same as "the entertainers" did. Can you do that with a 4-5-1 formation? :\

There's something about the creativity to his place that is pretty phenomenal for someone seemingly come out of nowhere. That reverse type pass/lay off to De Jong almost secured us 3 points at Villa. He just has a very keen technical/creative ability that really does shine through.

You could IMO if you played 2 quality inside forwards, but Pards wont so it's a moot point.

Pardew genuinely does not know how to do both attacking football and even attacks in general

 

So we need to stop saying this actually, because it implies that he knows how to do defensive football. In reality he knows nothing about football, and doesn't get anything right. We are not good at any one part of football. Except looking inept and losing games. That we really do excel at.
