If he does well for us I wonder we will sell him to next.

these comments are so f***ing dull now

But they are appropriate to how this club is run.

Seems odd to me to give him the vice-captain role already. I mean, he doesn't know the players, they don't know him, there can't be any trust or respect there yet

Not that there are many better options available mind

It's very strange, however reassuring he's made that kind of impression already. Colo isn't a captain in any form, this time next year I reckon sdj will be our new captain regardless of whether colo is here or not.

I know, we don't need to be reminded about it in every thread though

we all know we're a selling club right now, this isn't a new revelation

It needs to be said every other post in every thread or the forum will break.

Guest Roger Kint

So did he play in mf yesterday?

Started off Armstrong I believe, in a number 10 role??

Sounds like it, Colback in CM with Aarons & Gouffran either side

On the vice-captain subject, Nolan was made club captain only 6 months after joining and whatever you think of him as a player, he got the motley cru playing together and even made Joey Barton look good for 18 months.

I think some players just emanate leadership and respect. He was already the captain of Ajax and we really don't have any players in our bargain bin who might succeed Colo.

During that time we had a lot of big personalities in the dressing room, something we have probably missed over the past couple of seasons. As much as i like colo, i dont think he really has the fire in his belly that a captain should have. If anything Williamson is our most vocal defensive player.

As much as it pains me to say it, the captain of the current bunch should probably be Tiote.

Why would Colback be upset about that?
