It wasn't just the fact that he let the ball sail over to an unmarked Ayew.  It was how he totally stood off him after that.  Don't rush in so gung ho and get skinned.  But FFS, at least close the shot/cross down.  Really poor from him and I'm a big fan of his.

Bloke has cost us a number of goals due to being dragged infield and leaving the player he should be marking free - as an international player he should know this but why are the coaching sgaff not highlighting this as it happens time and time again.

Lucky to be on until the end. Absolute gutter shit. Crossing was pathetic. Really hate when he plays a one two with Sissoko on the edge of the area with him running into the box without getting on the return pass.

Wanted him subbed off but didn't want Anita at RB either.

I like him but he's digressed massively. I know he puts in the effort he just makes thick tackles, and seems like he's out of shape or something. Terribly one paced and stopped driving balls in and floats the fuckers. Looks far off the player we signed originally. Which is par for the course for us.

So inconsistent with it, too. One minute he's telling Moussa to get back and watch his man, the next he's telling Colo about what the Dutch do for Christmas. Nightmare.

We've given him some deserved stick for his lackadaisical defending but he's definitely improved in that area in the last few games. Obviously, at the other end of the pitch, what a player he is. Terrific touch and great awareness to put it in the right area for Gini.

I think he's going to love Shelvey like. The opposition's left-winger is going to have to spend a lot of time running backwards if we continue like this.

I don't know what to make of this guy. When he can be arsed he looks like the best right back in the world, but then there's other games where he just looks like defending is meant to be done by someone else in the team. He was top class at both ends of the pitch today.

At risk of coming across a twat, do you mean regressed? #alreadyatwatyoupedanticwanker

Why do footballers get people to manage their social media accounts by the way? Surely one of the easiest jobs going for the person who is doing it. I think most of our players on Twitter (Krul, Sissoko, Woodman, Janmaat, Ayoze...) all have people posting from their accounts.

Watched him getting out of his car tonight and he looked stiff, he had to stretch his calves a few times before he started walking and for the first couple of steps was definitely favouring his left foot. Maybe a knock in training today though rather than carrying an injury.
