Dave
I know they're the ones out there and they therefore take a lot of the blame for how shit we are, but with the new players in particular it feels totally pointless judging them too much. We're a horrible team with a rubbish manager, I'm not sure we can expect the players to look anything but awful.
Varadi
Does anyone know if he outscored Falcao and Rodriguez last year at Monaco? Falcao 11 in 19 Rodriguez 10 in 38 Riviere 13 in 36 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013%E2%80%9314_AS_Monaco_FC_season

There's looking awful and there's not even looking like a professional footballer, this guy is the latter right now.
sempuki
Does anyone know if he outscored Falcao and Rodriguez last year at Monaco? He did but they were both injured. Iirc he got around 10 league goals.

Fair enough, but attacking players are the ones given the very least opportunity to shine under Pardew.
Mick
I'll judge the new players WHEN we have a new manager.
Tsunami
He was a nothing player in pre season when playing against rubbish. He's not a goal scorer and will not contribute anything with the style of football we try miserably to play. Completely stupid signing and perhaps a little unfair on him. At least he's fit enough to play unlike Chunky or whatever he's called. How many shots on target have our strikers had so far this season.

SAK
Will reserve judgement, watching the Chelsea Swansea match and seeing mostly average players like Routledge (who wasn't good enough for us) playing above themselves because they play to a system and are motivated by their manager. BillClinton
I'll judge the new players WHEN we have a new manager. This. However I'm worried that there confidence might be ruined permanently if this continues.

We got Obertan for Routledge who we were told was not good enough for us. I know which one I prefer.
afar
I liked Routledge, I never really understood the criticism he got on here. He made a huge difference to us in the promotion season and I don't think he was really given a fair crack of the whip in the first season back. huss9
think he's finally found a club that plays a system that suits him. always been used as on out and out winger in the past and no one really had the brains to make the most of him. Ronaldo
He can't be completely judged on his performances under Pardew but it's pie in the sky hoping he'll turn out to be the PL striker we need.

No idea why I found this so funny I roffled too I'm still going to give everyone a clean slate under a new manager, as Pardew could make C.Ronaldo look like Milton Nunez
Guest neesy111
I'm not judging him until he plays regularly with someone next to him.
Newcastle Fan
Very few strikers in the world will be able to do anything under Pardew's system , must be frustrating as fuck playing up top in his system. then again this guy isnot doing himself any favors. Ronaldo
I'm not judging him until he plays regularly with someone next to him. I've said this before but what role would he play with a striker next to him? He's neither a finisher nor a creator.
mrmojorisin75
he cost 4m (in today's market) and he looks like a 4m striker
Chicane
I think he has shown at least his work rate is solid so you could maybe see him creating space and opportunities for someone like Cisse simply by making good runs and dragging defenders out of position. It's crystal clear that this 4-4-1-1 we've been using isn't gonna work for him at least until De Jong is fit again though. The guy has been completely isolated in pretty much every game so far. Ted Maul
Feel sorry for the guy tbh. Not going to judge any of the players while they're playing under this manager.
Cronky
His first touch looks a bit erratic for a lone striker. Gambling on the likes of Ayoze or Armstrong feels dodgy, but we may have to.
