relámpago blanco
This would be amazing I honestly think we have a good squad and someone with half a brain could get a great deal more out of it. The likes of Anita, Cabella and many others could have a new lease of life under a good coach.
Dave
Looks like you lot have got your wish. Otherwise there'd have been a denial by now. And I can't see there's any point in Ashley trying to force Pardew to stay, against his wishes. It all depends on who we get now - I suspect it'll be Pulis. Quite a few might well look at what's happened to Pardew, and think, no thanks. You sound disappointed. I'm worried. About what? Us being shit? That we might get relegated? That we might get embarrassed regularly on the pitch? That the mackems might beat us at SJP? Exactly.
Guest neesy111
That's not the 1st time I've heard lawrie sanchez involved. :anguish: :anguish: :anguish: :anguish: :anguish:
Guest neesy111
Colo would change of style of play instantly imo, he's not daft.
manosdepiedra
Pardew has a contract of employment. Surely he can buy himself out with Palace's money up to the value of his remaining contract salary? So Ashley can't demand 12million or something absurd. Not sure if Palace are that flush though. As in, rich enough to buy his existing contract and pay him enough to make it worth his while to leave which would presumably require a lengthy contract too. Their most recent spell in administration was 2010, promoted 2 years later....that's 2 seasons of premier league loot. Are they thinking its wiser to put together say a 10million package on a new manager (compo+salary) rather than spend a lot more than 10 million on new players in January? TaylorJ_01
I just want a new approach and to feel passion again. If it's Colo it'd be weird but so be it.

Jill
Is there a manager out there who is so shit, we would rather pardew stayed than have him? Don't anyone answer this in case Mike pops on here for ideas and only reads the one name.
Flip
I'll be honest here. I'll take absolutely anyone at this point, I just want him gone.
oldtype
Is there a manager out there who is so shit, we would rather pardew stayed than have him? I draw the line at Kinnear. Anything beyond that is fine.
Guest firetotheworks
Safe to say that if Colo's half the manager he is a captain then he would be -0.5 a manager.

Teasy
Safe to say that if Colo's half the manager he is a captain then he would be -0.5 a manager. So 10x better than Pardew then.
Danh1
The Lawrie Sanchez thing sounds plausible sadly, he had Pardew lined up weeks before Hughton was sacked, Keegan months before Allardyce etc. I would rather give some members here the job than Lawrie fucking Sanchez. Either way though Pardew fucking off would be huge and lift a massive weight off the shoulders of the fans. He has distanced himself from us so much to the point we don't enjoy wins and don't have that emotional connection with the club anymore. Sooner he goes the better for that reason, the club is on it's knees at the moment because of him.
BlueStar
Colo was trying to get out of his contract as a player to fuck off to Argentina, why's he going to want to stick around and manage us?
Teasy
He's here till the end of the season anyway, not that he'll get the job, that whole thing was made up.
Dave
One thing is for certain, the media will be praying it's someone shite and praying it goes even worse than we are now. Old boys network love Pardew for some reason. Fucking cunts.
nufcjb
Just woke up expecting some official progress on Pardew but instead burnt my toast reading Lawrie fucking Sanchez's name in this thread? Why in the blue hell is he being linked? Where's it coming from?
