The breakfast show yesterday was embarrassing listening as they tried to claim that where he was from was a big part of the reason for us wanting him out. I only listen to Drivetime. Probably should've said that. I think Phil Brown works for the station and made some comments in defence of Pardew. Adrian Durham responded in the afternoon by calling Brown 'a disgrace'. Durham was quality - "I know Phil Brown works for this station but he said this morning that only fans and the media get managers sacked, total nonsense. He's got the team in a slump which he is unable to recover from. He is unable to use his best players, either benching them or not playing to their strengths.
