TRon
Bolasie was giving Arsenal a hard time so Pards craftily withdrew him to save his legs for next week's game.
KaKa
He claimed bolasie wasn't fit enough. Next week the fans will start complaining about Bolasie's conditioning and in weeks to come his weight ...
Guest firetotheworks
http://www.holmesdale.net/page.php?id=106&tid=154913 I thought that AP got it completely wrong with his substitutions yesterday. Surely if you are going to take players off, you need to replace them with at least someone as competent. Taking Bolasie, Zaha and McArthur off was mental, unless it was because McArthur had been booked (unfairly), in which case Jedinak could have replaced him. Much and Lee are simply not good enough for the Premier League. Wickham looked OK, but his work rate is nowhere near Murray's.He doesn't chase lost causes and if we are to play one up top, it has to be Glenn. Having said that, I am not a fan of the two wide players and a lump up front. Even if the target man wins the ball, there is no-one within 30 yards of him to support him. We also have someone in Gayle who can only play in a 4-4-2 and who will score goals alongside Murray. How many games have they actually played together? http://s3media.247sports.com/Uploads/Assets/717/372/3372717.gif

Guest firetotheworks
I love the man and what he does but I just hope that he learns from his mistakes and doesn't continue to make them time and time again. http://i.imgur.com/VDjowbk.gif

KaKa
AP gives the impression of having real "favourites", which is unsettling when they appear to not necessarily be the best or most effective players. The treatment of Jedinak and Ledley, in particular, is wrong. Oh s***! That COLBACK stuff man. Can't believe they're smelling his rank deceit already. Need to visit that forum more regularly now. Pure jokes. It's crazy because I remember really liking Jedinak last season, and he's been completely ousted.

AyeDubbleYoo
As if Pardew didn't get all brave and play all the attackers in big games to only drop them after the obvious defeat for us as well It always happened ffs. He can't drop Cabaye so I can't see how he can make the midfield any more solid TBH. If things go wrong he could go with just two attackers I guess, and drop one of his main ballers. Jedinak & McArthur with Cabaye pushed on. Think Jedinak might be on the way out... the lunatic. Even then, what happens to Punch? He's a top baller, as they say in London. U2
At the heart of the conundrum is this: Cabaye is a wonderful player, but he’s not really a defensive midfielder. He was at fault for Norwich’s goal last week...
Sima
It's almost as if he plays more attackers in the big games as he'll get more recognition if he spawns a win in one of them. The fucking charlatan.
Klaus
I used to love him bringing on a left back in the 75th minute when we were 2-0 down for no reason what so ever.

Think Punch is ahead of Bolasie in Pardew's mind. Also very good from set-pieces and they have genuine aerial fret tbf. Agreed on Wickham. Needs more work-rate and he doesn't look to have any more ability than Murray so far. It looks like Bamford has replaced Gayle as the bench striker/second striker option. They certainly aren't a 4-4-2 side though. Gayle has decided not to go to Bristol it seems. Jedinak got himself 2 needless suspensions towards the end of last season and he's dropped down the list. Yorkie
I laughed when I saw Cabaye lining up in that defensive midfield position at the weekend. Couldn't be more typical Pards, like. Playing purely to counter the opposition and misusing players in the process. Just utterly, utterly standard. As for the subs, well. Say no more. Tip of the iceberg. Pilko
Just utterly, utterly standard. Mutch for Bolasie (46) - he brought Shola on at HT a lot and often in place of a pacy or direct player who was "not fit enough" Lee Chung Yong for Zaha (76) - another pacy, attacking player brought off in favour of giving one of his shit plodders a runout (read Gosling, Lov, Gouffran etc) McArthur for Bamford (80) - vaguely attacking change made far too late It's so fucking similar

SEMTEX
It cheapens your argument against Mr Pardew ("Pards") if you criticise him for things that aren't cut and dry. There are enough sticks to beat him with, let's not scrape the barrel with examples such as subbing an ineffective Zaha. There's yee telt.
