SP has made it impossible for Pardew to hide which he did very well up until the campaign kicked in.

Since SP he has had nothing to hide behind and for a man of his considerable ego to have his whole pathetic managerial career and NUFC tenure promoted to the sporting world with such concise professionalism will have hurt him massively.

He couldn't hind behind the patter any more, nor results, player sales etc. because the SP website showed him up to be the liar, charlatan and fraud that he is. His only saving grace was to win games and although he did win six on the spin, he was never ever going to maintain his winning streak because he simply doesn't have it in him as his CV so delightfully showcased by SP shows.

I'm in no doubt the SP website and campaign put him in the firing line and knowing he cannot sustain the kind of results that would keep such a campaign down for good, he has bailed at the first opportunity.

SP forced an NUFC manager too look himself in the mirror, question his own self and ultimately help persuade him that he should move on and for that it deserves huge praise and for me has shown the way in terms of just what kind of impact a fans lead campaign can have on a manager and a club. It forced Ashley to hire a PR guru, to up security at SJP and I hope its shown him that NUFC fans have something about them, well a number anyway. Sadly tens of thousands would gleefully give him a free ride even if we were relegated again. After all, we don't want to do a Portsmouth do we...

I hope Ashley is the target next. If Pardew goes, its a case of one left followjg DL and JK's departure in recent times.

they have done bugger all man ffs :D

They tried to organise one protest (which didn't work for various reasons) and have done nowt since (they probably realise that its near impossible to try and get the whole fanbase onside)

edit: the idea was good but they needed to try something different when the protest didn't work (they basically did nowt after it)

You not seen the website and masses of media coverage it prompted then? Pardew himself was asked questions about it.

I live in the USA and every single time we play win or lose NBC mentions "wonder what the Sack Pardew campaign will think of that result..." - its global for fucks sake.

They did nowt aside from bringing the spotlight directly over the man's head, finally exposing his shitness after years of the media ignoring it following the 5th-placed finish. Nowt except bringing international attention to his terrible record and finally putting an end to the ridiculously easy ride he was having. And nowt except educating the man himself on how much he is disliked by the fan base, which has undoubtedly made it an easier decision for him to fuck off to Crystal Palace. These guys have played a huge part, make no mistake about it. Wonderfully satisfying to see the fans still able to make a difference against the corporate behemoths of modern football.
