Clutching at straws a bit!

Here are some reasons to look forward to this game:

  • This is a golden opportunity to improve our awful record at Goodison Park

= We're always shit at Goodison.

  • A win would almost guarantee we finish above Everton for only the 2nd time in 10 years.
  • A win would also secure our first double over Everton since the 01/02 season

Everton are one of the last teams I'm bothered about getting one over.

  • Everton's leaky back four could make this the perfect moment for Manu Riviere to kick start his Newcastle career

:yao:

  • A goal for Ryan Taylor or Jonas Gutierrez would be an emotional moment, one of the most memorable of the season

What does it say about our season that a goal for Ryan Taylor would be one of our most memorable moments?

  • A number of young players are included in the matchday squad. It would be refreshing to see Satka or Roberts get some game time

= Our squad is so thin we have to resort to untested kids.

  • Both teams have poor defensive record, so this could potentially an entertaining high-scoring game

We always concede loads of goals, it's not entertaining!

  • A win makes Burnley ever so slightly more likely to stay up. Who doesn't like Burnley?

It also makes Sunderland more likely to stay up.

If we go there and play half way decent we should win, but we'll probably see Gouffran and Ameobi either side of Riveiere up front and the glorious return of Jack Colback instead.

He actually did it as well :kasper:

Absolutely foaming at that team. No reason for Ayoze and Cabella not to be in the first eleven, especially when it's Ameobi/Gouffran/Obertan/Riviere ahead of them. Jesus wept.

Has actually gone one better - managed to fit Obertan in there as well

Absolutely delighted we got rid of our best player in January anyway, no way he'd have been able to force his way into that amazing front four we're fielding today.
