Guest firetotheworks
The fact that Henderson was somehow rated highly enough to be chosen as England captain sums up just how far England have fallen. He's complete and utter garbage. Does it sum up how far Liverpool has fallen as well? Just that they seem to be doing awfully well with him as their captain and starting every game. If you think Jordan Henderson is the reason Liverpool are doing well then you need medical help. That's not what he said Well if you're asking me if Gerrard to Henderson is a downgrade then I don't think its a question even worthy of a answer. Just because Liverpool are doing well with him as Captain, that doesn't mean he's the automatic choice to replace Rooney does it? I think you need to look at Klopp, Mane, Coutinho etc as to why Liverpool are doing well. Even Milner is far superior. He shouldn't even be in the starting 11, never mind captain and his performance tonight proved it. Ah okay, so you agree that it sums up exactly nothing. mrmojorisin75
Some other shit result tonight? Class. Had an epiphany, next English manager has to be Simeone, no one else. Ticks so many boxes. Preferably he'd have Beckham as kitman but that's probably asking too much.

TRon
Stick with Southgate until the summer and see if we can get Wenger then. If that's not possible, just give it to Pardew and let the journos have a field day with digging in his past and have him being a t*** in front of the whole nation. Southgate hasn't even managed at club level never mind international. Leaving him at the helm too long is the equivalent of putting Giggs in charge of Man U. The FA are basically just winging it at the moment, and Allardyce was part of that as well. wut I forgot, he managed boro wasn't it? Might as well have been Peterborough for all the difference it makes. He hasn't shown anything at club level, that's the point for the less pedantic. Less pedantic  You were wrong, that's what it was. No pedanticism about it And he managed 3 seasons in the Premier League so it's nothing like managing Peterborough. Alright so I was wrong, congratulations, now let's hear your views as to why his club record qualifies him as England material. Or even why his club experience is irrelevant, maybe he has some international insight that the less informed like me are unaware of. Let's hear it. Mole_Toonfan
Southgate probably isn't good enough but i don't think any manager can get much from this group, there's some talented forward players but most of the defenders are utter s**** and the CM options are utterly depressing. Jordan Henderson, Eric Dier, Fabian Delph, Danny Drinkwater, Jonjo Shelvey, Jack Cork, James Ward-Prowse, Jack Wilshere, Ryan Mason, Tom Carroll, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Liam Baker, Nathaniel Chalobah. Don't think i'm missing anyone there, but none of them are any good. If the midfield is utterly s**** which it quite painfully is, then it's hard for any manager to get anything from the team. Barkley is the obvious miss. Needs to fulfil some potential though. He's clearly got some ability.

Paully
What on earth has Vardy done wrong? Rooney is still going to be a big problem because he'll be first sub introduced 9 times out of 10! That is now five utter shite England matches in a row!

In general, we do have some talented players who, for one reason or another, weren't out there last night - Barkley, Wilshere, Lallana, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Welbeck - players who can make things happen. A fit and in-form Wilshere would have made a big difference, but I fear the worst for his career, with so many injuries early on.

themanupstairs
Henderson's Ronaldinho pass Howay man. He's highly underrated, haven't you heard? Bottles tackles and hides behind teammates but he's underrated bro.
Guest firetotheworks
There are plenty of posts about him being shit and a post just on the last page about him being overrated. I reckon he's underrated but last night he was terrible, it's not that difficult a concept. If you watch Liverpool you'll see how useful he can be.
